Jessica Alba Strips Down For ‘Machete’

After vowing never to strip on screen, Hollywood beauty Jessica Alba has given her first nude scene for the film ‘Machete’.

The arthouse action film which also stars Robert De Niro, Steven Seagal and Lindsay Lohan, has Alba in her birthday suit for a shower sequence, reported Daily Mail online.

The 29-year-old had earlier said that her Catholic upbringing makes it impossible for her to be naked in front of the cameras.

“No, I’ll never do a nude scene. I can act sexy and wear sexy clothes but I can’t go naked. I come from a very Catholic family so it wasn’t seen as a good thing to flaunt yourself like that,” she had earlier said in an interview.

The ‘Sin City’ actress who has a 2-year-old daughter Honor Marie, with husband Cash Warren stars as a assassin in the Robert Rodriguez film.

Kate Winslet is reportedly so smitten with her new flame, British model Louis Dowler, that she has asked him to temporarily shift to Chicago to be with her.

Filming commitments mean the Oscar winner and mother of two is set to spend several months in the Windy City and Winslet reputedly wants her beau by her side.

Disney Unloads Miramax In Massive Deal

The Miramax Films studio founded by movie magnates Harvey and Bob Weinstein has been sold off in a massive £440 million deal after a six-month bidding war.

The company was set up by the famous brothers and sold to The Walt Disney Company in 1993 after they left to establish The Weinstein Company.

Miramax Films fell into financial difficulty and closed its offices in January and the Weinsteins, who were responsible for hit films such as Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and The English Patient, tried to buy the company back.

Their negotiations fell though and officials at Disney have now announced the firm has been sold off to a private investment group. [Read more...]

A source told The Sun newspaper: “They’re very loved-up, they just click.

I’m The Girl With The Big Butt Says Kim Kardashian

For all the discussion about Kim Kardashian’s derriere, you’d expect to find an ancient civilisation living on it.

Or an encoded blueprint for global peace. But here, wedged into a vampish outfit that would prompt adult film-maker Russ Meyer to yell, “Roll camera!” there seems little to provoke such extensive discourse.

Perhaps ‘little’ is the wrong word. There’s no denying it’s a pert posterior, but it’s far from freakishly disproportionate and surely undeserving of the wealth of web references (more than three million on Google).

It certainly didn’t need to be fondled on TV by The Circle’s Chrissie Swan – footage that subsequently led certain stateside entertainment bulletins.

Nor does eventual discussion of it raise so much as a plucked eyebrow from Kardashian.

“Yep, I’m the girl with the big butt,” says the successful self-promoter, former Paris Hilton acolyte and star of familial reality television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

“The girls at school would walk by and grab it and be like, ‘Your butt’s so big!’ It was a joke, but I’d hide it with my uniform. I guess I’ve learnt to appreciate it now.” [Read more...]
